What happens when we start asking the questions that rarely make it into a Sunday sermon?

GraftedIn Discernment is a monthly online gathering for Christians who are hungry to explore the deeper, more challenging aspects of their faith. We’re going beyond familiar Sunday messages to examine spiritual realities, biblical principles, and difficult subjects that are often overlooked, misunderstood, or simply left untouched.

You may never have been taught the full extent of the authority available to you through your relationship with Jesus, or how obedience and surrender are connected to walking in that authority. What does it actually mean to live in the power of Christ, in both the physical and spiritual realms? Why are so many Christians unfamiliar with these teachings? And how do we recognize when and how to exercise the authority we’ve been given?

We’re going to dig into those questions.

We’ll explore the power of worship, praise, gratitude, forgiveness, and the name and blood of Jesus. We’ll examine freedom in Christ, spiritual warfare, deception, occult practices, cultural influences, and the biblical foundations of spiritual authority. We’ll also tackle difficult subjects involving abuse, exploitation, religious beliefs, and the ways spiritual teachings intersect with the world around us.

Through Scripture, teaching, honest discussion, prayer, and practical exercises, we’ll ask hard questions, recognize patterns, test what we’re hearing, and examine both spiritual claims and observable evidence.

This isn’t about chasing darkness or becoming fascinated with the enemy. It’s about becoming more deeply rooted in Jesus, understanding the freedom and authority available through Him, and learning to recognize truth in a world where deception isn’t always obvious.

Come curious and openminded. Bring your Bible. Be willing to question what you’ve assumed, examine what you’ve been taught, and discover what you may have been missing.
